I love hot air balloons, although we don't see too many up here in Minnesota!! It's such a relaxing painting, the color are warm and soothing, and I love how each balloon get its own design.
Such pretty balloons, and because the front balloon is painted there is a good feeling of perspective and distance. You have achieved the 'floaty' feeling that one actually feels on a hot air balloon flight - we had one for our 25th wedding anniversary, including champagne in the field we landed in at 7 am. I'd recommend the experience.
Your entry makes me want to take flight Robin, In fact very often if you are up early enough and glance up at the skies here in Melbourne you can see all of the hot air balloons drift over. I've not managed to take the flight yet (not sure I'm brave enough) but I'm thinking about it! A lovely entry :D
