Friday Finds

A few things that have interested me this week:

: I found another knitter who likes to sketch her yarn.  I know there must be a few out there!

: This book looks very interesting.  (I am most definitely an introvert.)

: I've read Dances with Wool for a few years now, but I've always loved her drawings.

: The batt pictured above is probably next up on the wheel.  Once the BFL is finished, of course.  I'm working on the third bobbin of singles.

Friday Finds

Spinning Tales by Jenny Armitage
I found this lovely watercolor of a girl at her spinning wheel.  (Funnily enough, there aren't gobs of paintings/sketches/etc of spinning on the internet, at least not that I can find.)

Here are a couple of other things that caught my eye this past week:
This is a lovely shawl from Jennifer Dasseau called Selimiye.  Of course, it's a gold color, so I love it...

And these colorful faces from Abigail Halpin's blog (always a source of enchantment).

Happy weekend!
